Remember those days of summer camp? All the fun and enjoyment of games and creative learning that you had can be relived at the Gillen House Luxury B&B’s version of summer camp in a weekend – Adult Day Camp!!
Gather up a group of friends and take over the Gillen House for the weekend to enjoy some fun and games. We will create a weekend of enjoyment for you and your fellow “campers” to harken back the days of youth.
Additional cost is $200 per couple and will be added to your weekend room rate.
Adult Day Camp Weekend Agenda
Friday – Arrival by 4:00 pm. Ease into the camper mode with a few cocktails and snacks and maybe a game or two. Dinner for the group will be arranged.
Saturday – Start the morning with a full breakfast to get fueled up for the day of fun. We will organize games throughout the day to make you giggle and smile with your fellow campers like; Bocce Ball, Lawn Darts, Horseshoes, Ring Toss, Croquet, Frisbee golf, putt-putt, and a few other fun adventures. Weather permitting, we may be able to go fishing, or on a nature hike. There may even be a few craft projects that you can create someone’s special gift!!
Early evening hors d’oeurves and libations to review the days fun with dinner to follow.
Sunday – Another great breakfast and a game or two in the morning to complete the camper’s experience. Awards and prizes will then be given out for the campers to take home a few ribbons of the accomplishments over the weekend!
Artwork – Take a two-hour course from our resident artist, Cynzia Sanchez. Pick the medium you want to learn and get excellent hands-on guidance.

Throughout Oglethorpe County the gravel roads are winding tree lined corridors of fantastic scenery with challenging and enjoyable rides that bring great experiences. The Gillen House B&B is right in the middle of some of the best out and back rides of between 20 and 50 miles. Choose from the route or routes that fit your skill from our customized maps of roadways that will give you a thrilling country adventure.
Make the Gillen House B&B your “basecamp” for a two-night stay with us and take in the exhilarating countryside for the day and return to enjoy a custom dinner designed to refuel you from your adventure of the day. Bring your biker friends and enjoy a group ride and camaraderie while enjoying the hospitality of the Gillen House.
