The Gillen House was everything we hoped for in a wedding venue. The property is absolutely beautiful, and its peaceful setting made it feel special from the moment we arrived. venue was exceptional and made our wedding a dream come true.
The Brights
Exchange vows in Georgia’s picturesque countryside at The Gillen House Bed and Breakfast. Say “I do” under magnificent Magnolias, surrounded by beautiful flowers to match your wedding colors. The chirping birds and gentle breeze add to the romantic ambiance.
After the heartfelt ceremony, enjoy a delightful reception on the grounds or in Serenity Hall Barn. Gillen House offers a romantic and serene setting for creating lasting memories.
We are open for events in the months of March, April, May, June (first weekend only) and September, October, & November. Taking a tour of our property is really the best way for you to feel what we have to offer.
Wedding Packages
Wedding packages include the use of Serenity Hall Barn, gardens, grounds and Maxeys City Limits Bar, as well as access to the Partners Rooms on the second floor of the main house.
We offer 4 different package options to fit your dreams and your budget. We also offer customizable wedding package options to fit your unique desires.
Wedding Packages 2026-2027
- Brightwell Package – 30 Guest Maximum – $2,250.00
- Buchanan Package – 60 Guest Maximum – $3,250.00
- Vinson Package* – 90 Guest Maximum – $4,250.00
- Gillen Package** – 120 Guest Maximum – $5,250.00
- All packages include:
- Access to property from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm day of event.
- All indoor events take place in the Serenity Hall Barn, a Rustic Barn Space for up to 120 guests, 2 bathrooms & Food Prep Area.
- Partner rooms included for the day.
- Full access to gardens and grounds for photography & yard games.
- Tables & Chairs for ceremony & reception included.
- Maxeys City Limits Bar use included.
- Various accessories available for rental.
- Brightwell & Buchanan Packages allow for overnight accommodation to be booked individually by guests.
- *Vinson Wedding Package includes Overnight accommodations for four people (2 rooms), for one night.
- **Gillen Wedding Package includes Overnight accommodations for eight people (4 rooms), for one night.
Venue Requirements
- In order to hold a weekend date, a deposit is required and cannot be refunded after 14 days. After 14 days, a contract must be completed and signed to firmly reserve your dates.
- Cancellation Policy: 90 days prior to the event, reservation deposit will be refunded minus a cancellation fee. If inside 90 days of the event, no refund can be provided.
- Facility Damage Deposit fee is required
- Event must end by 9:30 pm due to noise ordinance.
- Event Insurance must be obtained prior to the event and proof of coverage is to be supplied. See vendor list.
- A Month-of Coordinator is highly suggested for events.
